February seems to be the month for the release of awesome new Young Adult books! I am especially looking forward to Calamity by Brandon Sanderson, Earth’s End by Elise Kova and The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig!
My resolution for 2016 has been to use my local library more often instead of reflexively spending all of my money on impulse book purchases. It’s hard to wait for the library to get in new releases, but I bought almost twice as many books in 2015 as I actually read so I figured I needed to do something to get a hold of my out of control book buying! I am proud to report that I only bought two books last month and borrowed three from the library! Okay…back in October I pre-ordered a book that arrived in January but that totally doesn’t count!

I am always surprised by how many books I discover when I put together this post. I wish I had the time and money to read all of them!

I appreciate posts like this but I always have to tell myself that it would be impossible to read all of the fantastic new releases! I am most excited for Glass Sword!

The first time I put together the list of books to be released for the month, I ended up buying 7 of the books on the list because they looked so good! Since then I have been more discerning with my purchases, but still have to reign in the urge to buy all the awesome books I want to read!.

If I could get my hands on a real time turner necklace, I would definitely use it to catch up on my TBR list! I never have enough time and money to read all the books I want to read. It’s great fun to try though!

EEEP seeing it all placed together like this make me realise that I simply do not have enough funds *cries*
I have of course pre ordered Morning Star and AGOS though, as I NEED to read them immediately. I still need to read Firefight before reading Calamity. A Criminal Magic looks stunning! I am going to look into more reviews before committing to a purchase though.

Firefight was really good! I need more money too…or another job. Really, I need a job reading books where the books and reading time are all in a day’s work!
